The most pulled-together and fashion forward males are wearing tighter and tighter pants these days. Such celebrities as Pete Wentz, all of the Jonas Brothers, Zac Efron and Johnny Depp have all been seen sporting skinny jeans for men, bringing the popularity they once had from the 90s back into trend. Guys with more of an edgy or artistic style could pull them off: musicians, photographers and producers, among others. Those certain skinny body types are the ones who can pull off this sharp look, and have been more recently preferred by women for men as attractive compared to baggy and sloppier jeans. The most appealing ones are of dark hues in either black, dark blue, or grey. Those daring ones that I have also seen are unconventional bright colors like red, yellow, green and purple. These jeans actually give the male form a silhouette and are a look of savvy confidence. I have to admit when they first came back, I thought it was quite weird that men were wearing jeans with the same fit that I had in my drawers. But now I find them more polished and chic, in the male sense of it all. Males, take your pick from men's, women's or unisex versions. Yes, some guys these days shop in the women's section to get what they want from their favorite stores. Employees at Hollister, H&M and Abercrombie & Fitch say they've seen more male customers examining the shelves and racks of women's clothes. Because those stores don't sell men's skintight jeans, fearless guys cross over to the feminine side to find the styles for about $50 to more than $100. One designer that the celebrities like for his skinny jeans is Moschino. And the best thing about this designer's jeans is that they are actually affordable to the non-celebrity men who dare to wear skinny jeans.

Okay,so we all have noticed the jeans on men are getting tighter and tighter. I do agree that those with slim body types can pull it off. However, I hate to see their 'print' in the front of the jeans. The super skinny jean look is such a European look and I guess if their guys can flaunt it and embrace it, then us Americans can too. Rightfully so, not all men can pull of this look and for those who can't I advise them to stay away.
I do agree with the comment from C. Renese. Skinny jeans are not for every man just like they are not for every woman. This unisex fashion item can be traced back to the Beatles, Prince, and The Cure. It must be something about musicans in tight jeans that generations of American girls can't help but love. I know I like them on a guy with the right body type to wear them.
Men wearing skinny jeans just shows how fashion changes for the years. I remember like it was just yesterday watching Clueless wear all the boys wore super baggy jeans and now I find some of my guys friends wearing similar jeans to mine.I believe it is fashionable if they wear similar jeans to mine and sometimes looks better than if they wore a looser fit jean. But like the other said these boys stunting this new fashion trend must have the body for this style inorder to pull it off. In addition, they must also wear the jeans correctly. Working retail I see many customers and their great fashionable outfits to the worst. Some guys walk into my work wearing skinny jeans and they have them sagging and you can see their boxer briefs. This is wear I think even if you have the body you must also wear them correctly. No one wants to see your underwear or at least not most people.
